Keeping your pets Active
Meet The Team
Carmel Keylock
Most recently certified as a canine rehabilitation practitioner with the University of Tennessee. Before that an active member of the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists in the U.K.
So what is weird about that?
Since qualifying as a member of the NAVP in 1996 I have always been reading up on the latest research and techniques for making life better for injured or disabled pets. Working in specialist Veterinary orthopaedic practice from 1997 to 2002 has given me a good understanding of surgeries performed, and the problems faced by the surgeons and owners recovering their pets from surgery.
If it wasn't for my children I would be one of those nerdy people with only 1 topic of conversation...
O.K. so I'm weird
The wonderful part is seeing peoples pets recover to comfortable mobility. Watching them become more joyful fur-kids again.
I am looking forward to expanding Active Pet Rehabilitation to two locations and being able to see cats in a quieter, dog free environment, where they don't have to worry about getting wet!

Most important member >>
Put your picture here You are the most important member of the rehabilitation team!
It is you that has to put in the time for extra walks, extra exercises, or even just to bring your pet to us for rehabilitation therapies.

Noelle Bellagamba
I’m Noelle, a used-to-be French backpacker who decided on staying in Western Australia to pursue my deep interest in animal care and rehabilitation, at first as a basic wildlife carer (for a short while) and now as a pet rehabilitation assistant as well as a kennel hand and animal carer.
I first attended a short course with CALM and years later passed my certificate III in companion animal services with TAFE, I also acquired some farm work experience along the way and have been working in a kennel for a few years now as well as doing some pet caring/minding.
As Carmel’s assistant, I help at the practice but also with the home treatment plan if owners need a hand (or 2 ) with it, occasionally or on a regular basis.
I also bring some healing to Carmel’s expertise, with reiki and some applications of basic Tellington touch techniques for a gentle approach and for better cooperation and partnership between us and the patient, and to increase their comfort and success in recovery.
I completely agree with Carmel’s motto “we put your pet first” and sometimes you may find that I forget about you, the owner (!?!). Not to worry I’m sure your companion loves the attention! ;-)
I looking forward to meeting you and helping out your pets…
